On 16 September 2026, the LEX MAGISTER Mongolia Center was officially inaugurated and established in Ulaanbaatar — a further step in building out our overseas network of local centers, and the point at which our China–Mongolia cross-border service system becomes a closed loop.
1. Over a decade on the ground, led by lawyer Qian Kun
The Mongolia Center is headed by Qian Kun, a lawyer who has worked in the Mongolian market for more than ten years and has been based in Ulaanbaatar throughout. With an in-depth command of Mongolia's business policies, mining industry ecosystem and local judicial practice, together with deep local government, corporate and industry relationships and hands-on service experience, Qian Kun is a seasoned local specialist in Chinese investment into Mongolia, mining development and cross-border compliance.
Building on those years of local practice, the Mongolia Center will provide Chinese enterprises in Mongolia with genuinely local, hands-on, end-to-end outbound legal services.
2. A dedicated enablement session on the day of launch
On the day of the inauguration, the team also held an internal enablement session — a systematic review of the Mongolia Center's positioning, its local service portfolio, the workflow for cross-border matters, and pathways for government and corporate cooperation, with particular focus on connecting traditional local practice with the LEX MAGISTER AI toolkit for outbound work.
